Emporia Wine Estate is featured among the hotels, experiences and destinations profiled in National Geographic Traveller (UK)'s 2024 Lakes & Mountains Collection.

Each year, National Geographic Traveller (UK) publishes a series of themed collections — standalone guides pairing the magazine's own reporting with a curated set of hotels, experiences and destinations submitted for consideration. For 2024, the theme was Lakes & Mountains, its editorial spanning lakeside adventures from paddleboarding to subterranean boating, birdwatching in the Scottish Highlands, and a search for Bigfoot along Oregon's trails. Emporia Wine Estate was included among the hotels and experiences featured in that edition.

The estate's own account, submitted alongside the magazine's coverage, is a simple one: a boutique hotel and working winery above Mostar, an amphora-lined cellar corridor, cabana-shaded afternoons by the pool, and a doorway in the tasting room that frames the valley beyond like a photograph of its own.
